Our founder, Harold “Greg” Gregory, built this company on a simple belief: take care of people, work hard, and do business the right way. What started in 1961 has grown into a trusted regional supplier serving customers across agriculture, transportation, construction, automotive, industrial, and commercial industries.
Harold’s commitment to customers and strong relationships created the foundation for the company we are today. In 1990, the business was purchased by Ron and Lori Mariani, Harold’s daughter, ensuring the company remained family owned and operated. Having joined the company in 1979 as a fuel driver, Ron learned every aspect of the business from the ground up before stepping into ownership, serving as President and CEO while continuing to build on Harold’s vision.
In 1993, Harold’s son, Kelvin Gregory, returned to the family business as Sales Manager after growing up working alongside his father and learning the business firsthand. His leadership helped strengthen the company’s customer relationships and commitment to service, carrying forward the values Harold instilled from the very beginning.
Today, Ron’s son, Greg Mariani, serves as General Manager and represents the next generation of leadership. Together, the Gregory and Mariani families remain committed to the founding principles Harold established more than six decades ago—building lasting business relationships through honesty, integrity, exceptional service, and always standing behind their word. Those values continue to define how Greg’s Petroleum Service serves its customers, employees, partners, and communities every day.

Over the years, Greg’s Petroleum Service has grown from its beginnings in Delano into a regional operation with locations in Delano, Bakersfield, Arvin, and Fresno.
