More incidents appear to be occurring at extended-network locations. If you or your drivers are fueling in the LA area, we recommend using in-network fueling sites whenever possible to help reduce fraud risk and avoid potential card issues or travel delays.
Simple Ways to Help Protect Your Fuel Cards
A few extra precautions can make a big difference:
- Never keep your PIN with your fuel card. Drivers should memorize their PIN and keep it separate from the card.
- Use in-network fueling locations whenever possible, especially when traveling in the Los Angeles area.
- Review card limits and controls. Make sure purchasing limits and restrictions match each driver’s actual fueling needs.
- Sign up for e-receipts. Receiving receipts electronically makes it easier to monitor transactions and quickly identify unusual activity.
